The Last Stair,

             The Third Day

The third day of BVPPDC 3.0 brought about the crucial semi-

finals. As per prediction, maximum efforts were required to
be put in for the teams to secure their place in the Finals.

The theme for the semi-finals, International Relations, was

quite challenging to be debated upon. In this team the first
motion stated- THBT India should secretly fund and advice

the political campaigns of people in neighbouring countries

example Sri Lanka, whose interests align with the Indian

foreign policy interests. The second stated that THBT the
French should destroy all existing infrastructure in Burkina

Faso when they leave. The third, THBT the EU should stop all

trade activities with rich gulf states example Saudi Arabia
and Qatar who do not accept refugees, was not debated

         upon.

After the motions had been released, there was a great rush.

Debaters could be seen jolting down all their points for the

debate, investing all the trust and confidence in the words
they wielded for the debate. The seriousness was clear and

the efforts were being made immensely. Not only the

debaters but the spectators looked excited for the debate to

commence. The third and the most conspicuous day
proceeded towards the Closing Ceremony and witnessed the

         end of an enduring event.
