STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS.

This semester I have the opportunity to take Writing II as a course to learn and
review different things related to the writing field. Therefore, this essay is aimed to identify

the expectations I have for this program, how I think this course will contribute to my future

professional development and how I will contribute to attain the learning outcomes.
Regarding my expectations for taking Writing II, I have some. First, I expect it to

help me to improve my writing skills. I know there are many strategies I could follow to

develop it. Another expectation I have is to write academic essays. Because writing
different types of texts is truly necessary, I want to improve my accuracy and coherence

when writing.
This course will contribute to my future professional development in many ways.

One of the ways it would help me is by accepting constructive criticism. When writing, it
is important to receive feedback. Sometimes, it could be somewhat rugged. However, I

would be able to implement and accept recommendations. Another aid is that I would be

able to write a strong resume for obtaining a job. As my writing skills will increase with
this program, I will be able to write a powerful resume for employers to hire me.

I consider I can do many things in order to attain the learning outcomes in Writing
II successfully. One thing I will do is study harder. I did not use to study before, but now I

have realized that I need and I have to. If I want to show a good performance, I need to
study more. Another thing is that I will use my own learning strategies, so that I could be

at the required English level or even in a higher one. Reading books, listening to music in

English and watching movies in English are some of the strategies.
To sum up, Writing II subject is a program, which would help me to improve my

writing skills. With the aid of my own strategies, I will try to maintain myself at an
appropriate level so that I could write accurate essays in the future. In addition, this program

would contribute to my future development because I will be able to impact employers and

get values due to my writing skills. Therefore, I think this subject is one of the most
important ones because it involves a field that is particularly meticulous to learn, which is

writing.
