SNAILS : INVERTEBRATES
BARBADOS MITER
(Mitra barbadensis) < 2.5 cm / 1 in Smooth elongated shell with a long thin spire. Dark brown to reddish. Mantle and proboscis are yellow.
WHITE-CIRCLED MITER (Vexillum albocinctum) < 1.5 cm / 0.5 in Dark brown shell circled with protruding white bumps that form into lines. Dark mantle with white blotches.
MOTLEY MITER
(Vexillum variatum) < 1.5 cm / 0.5 in
Black shell with one distinct broad white line near the opening, followed by a series of lines made of red knobs.
HARLEQUIN MITER
(Vexillum histrio) < 1.5 cm / 0.5 in
Highly ridged dark red shell with yellow and black bands. Black mantle and proboscis. White-banded tentacles.
BEAUTIFUL MITER
(Vexillum pulchellum) < 1.5 cm / 0.5 in
Bright orange shell with a sharply pointed spire. Bands of small black markings. Single white line near the opening.
STOCKY CERITH
(Cerithium litteratum) < 3 cm / 1.75 in Pointed shell with numerous small ridges. Usually pale, circled  ith dar   ro n s ots.  een la in  e  s a o e.
