THE SEKO ORIGIN:
The name SEKO is a derivative of Siegel and Koppel. In the 1950s, business partners
Norman S. Koppel and Bernard (Bernie) Siegel started SEKO Rocket Enterprises, Inc.,
which shuttled cars between dealers in new car trading that is common in the auto
sales space. They then formed SEKO Messenger, Inc. and bought numerous messenger
companies in the Chicagoland area.
