ALLOTROPE: Forms of the same element that have different physical and chemical properties because of different molecular structures
O can be oxygen (O2) or ozone (O3) depending on how it bonds.
C can be diamond or graphite, depending on how it bonds. These allotropes have different crystal structures and properties.
