Heat of Fusion Equations
How to Solve Heat of Fusion Equations (freezing and melting)
• Let’s say I have to figure out how many joules are needed to melt 10 grams of water (ice). How would I figure that out?
• We can’t use the regular heat formula regarding a phase change because there is no change in temperature.
