 Solving Equations (Part 1)
   Often, when you plug values into an equation, you are left with numbers and a letter. This means you have a nice math problem to figure out. Let’s see how to solve them:
1. Multiply, divide, add, and subtract the equations on each side.
After you plug the values into the equation, let’s say you are left with this: 45 + 55 = 2X.
The first thing you do is look if you can simplify either side of the equation.
In this example, we would add 45 + 55 to get 100, and the new, simplified equation would look like this: 100 = 2X.
