pH Scale
The pH scale ranges from zero to 14.
• Acids have a pH between 0 and 7. The closer to zero, the more acidic.
• Bases have a pH between 7 and 14. The closer to 14, the more basic.
• A pH of 7 is neutral.
This means that there’s an equal amount of acids and bases.
