A Note from the Artistic Director
Greetings, everyone! Although we’d certainly prefer to see you in person, we
are so thrilled that you are joining us for our first-ever Zoom reading series!
These three plays combine one event from the Stages Online Festival, a
transformation of the series offered by the New Jersey Theatre Alliance every
year, and two events from our Meet the Artist series held every May.
We are lucky to be showcasing the writing talents of Steve Harper, Stephen
Kaplan and chandra thomas, the directors Mark Spina, Marshall Jones III and
myself, and an array of wonderful actors from our area. We hope that this
format will allow us all to stay connected, and to participate in the creative
process we crave and enjoy.
Stay tuned as we take our next steps into the future. Our summer
Monologues series will go on, whether live or online, as will our educational
programs like Dreamcatcher Junior and Improv classes. Where there’s a will,
there’s a way, and we here at Dreamcatcher have plenty of will. Can’t wait to
be with you along the way.
