A Note from the Artistic Director

Greetings!
Welcome to our spring mainstage production, the New Jersey premiere of Adam
Szymkowciz’s Kodachrome. It has that mix of humor and heart that we prefer here
at Vivid Stage, as well as the opportunity for our talented actors to portray multiple
roles in the same show!
Vivid Stage is always thrilled to have Betsy True directing. Betsy recently became
our resident director, which is an expression of our trust in her and our gratitude
for her sharing her talents with us. And we’re happy to showcase the talents of
company members Harry Patrick Christian, Jason Szamreta and Harriett Trangucci,
in addition to special guests Sarah Cuneo and JF Seary.
Or maybe you’re here for our Meet the Artist new play readings, our annual
celebration of new works and contemporary writers! These four plays represent our
favorites from among hundreds of submissions, as well as a new play written by me
for ensemble members Harry Patrick Christian and Harriett Trangucci.
