The Universe wants to give to you. The moment you begin to change your vibration to one of abundance, it will start sending you people, situations, and opportunities that reflect your inner state. It can be hard to let go of the feeling of I blew it! and watch as others enjoy the riches you passed by. Some friends of mine were trading stories once, and everyone had a family chronicle about "Uncle Theo," who sold that gorgeous brick home for a song without telling his brother, and nowadays it's worth a fortune ... or of Great-Grandpa, who was too skittish to buy up beachfront property years ago and watched his best friend who did invest become a self- made millionaire, while he continued to have to work in the grocery store. As everyone told their family's tale, we had to laugh, because for all the lost chances, here we were, years later, enjoying tremendous abundance together. Would any of us really be all that much happier if that relative long ago wouldn't have made what seemed like a "disastrous" mistake at the time? I doubt it!
Over the years, I've heard many life coaches tell audiences that they've made a fortune, gone bankrupt, made a fortune, gone bankrupt again, and made another fortune ... as if anyone who really wants to enjoy great wealth has to suffer ruin and huge ups and downs in their financial situation. I don't think that's true at all, but it is true, as I've said, that you have to be willing to give it all up. The key to letting go of the fear that you could lose all you've worked for is to accept that all the riches you haven't recognized or claimed in the past are still available to you. The door to abundance is never locked-it just sticks sometimes when you're not truly ready to receive wealth.
