big animals.” Viewing big animals in Nature
has been shown to have positive impacts on
human health and well-being. You may want
to think moose and buffalo in Yellowstone as
an example. Once the foundation of healing
through Nature is established here, we then
teach patients how to incorporate Nature in
their lifelong wellness programs, even once they
return home. No matter where they live around
the world.
WE ALSO TREAT CHILDREN,
YOUNG ADULTS, AND
ADOLESCENTS
Chronic diseases tend to run in families.
We are the first program to actively begin
preventing chronic disease, starting with
children, adolescents, and young adults. By
setting the system by age 19, it is already known
that chronic diseases of adulthood can be
prevented. In addition, by setting the system
prior to having children (prior to conception),
healthier genes can be passed on not only to
the next generation, but even to the generation
after that. In addition to genetics, certain
events early in life can also have a negative
impact on future health. These can include
being born by c-section, not being breast fed,
premature birth and early use of antibiotics.
Functional medicine is like an iceberg.
The symptoms are just the tip.
We look at what is going on under the
surface.”
