simply known as Daok is a multimedia artist based
in Lagos, Nigeria, a self taught artist. He underwent
apprenticeship in sculpting under Martins Aibangbe.
He hails from Edo State and his a graduate of Obafemi
Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. His works are exploratory
and experimental in nature, the mediums he employs
spans digital art, photography, fiberglass, painting
and using found objects. His works are inspired
by randomness of life and existence, psychology,
belief systems, relationships, and basically everyday
happenings.

to another, parenthood and attaining maturity and self reliance. Each
existing individual is an offspring of some pre-existing individuals, it is a
continuous loop that goes on infinitely.
