Families have meals mainly with pumpkins
People do many things like, scaring people with their costumes
Festivities in USA
There are a lot of festivities in USA which are celebrated since many years ago.
Thanksgiving and Halloween are very popular in USA both have their own day to celebrate,
food to eat in Family, and activities to do.
Thanksgiving Day appeared when Europeans went to USA and they taught Americans many
things. For example, how to plant and get benefits for what they plant. For that reason,
Americans gave Europeans some gifts which were food, clothes, and some provisions to they
come back to Europe. Since that day, people have to celebrate this holiday each November 4. In
this festivity Americans have a special meal. (This meal contains mainly turkey because when
Native Americans helped Europeans they ate turkey). Furthermore, people from United States
have activities to do in this day. In addition, families enjoy together. They prepare a great meal
and even some families help and feed some homeless people. Therefore, thanksgiving is a
beautiful day where families can enjoy sharing a good time even some other families give gifts
each other.
On the other hand, Halloween’s day is a popular holiday in USA. This holiday started
many years ago. This holiday appeared in the 70's century and it is celebrated in November 1.
In addition, this holiday is a beautiful moment to enjoy eating pumpkins because in this
festivity stores always sell everything concerns of food of pumpkins. Furthermore, families
usually are together but not always because in this holiday teenagers want to wear costumes
and having fun scaring other people. Finally, this is a great celebrity where people use a
popular phrase "Trick or treat".
To sum up, in USA there are many celebrities where families can enjoy together, sharing
gifts, eating special food, and sharing time each other.
