HEALING Our bodies are hardwired to reconstruct the
THE BODY macromolecules with acceptable accuracy, and
there are 'checkpoints' that thoroughly check
if the cellular repair mechanisms are standard.
Bodily healing can be expressed in terms of physical healing from a
disease. People often try quick fixes to their condition ignoring the ability
to modify their thoughts and behavior; thus, people are prone to give up
the hope to heal from disease.
The sick must be assisted to take responsibility for their health by
emphasizing the body's ability to repair and heal. Healing from an illness
occurs on our own belief in the ability that our body will repair itself.
Physical healing tends to be affected by psychological illnesses; an
example of this is stress and anxiety that cause a delay in the repair
process. Both originate in the mind and have inflammatory effects at the
cellular level. When a disease occurs, the body tries to get rid of the
debris at the injury site.
Our bodies are hardwired to reconstruct the macromolecules with
acceptable accuracy, and there are 'checkpoints' that thoroughly check if
the cellular repair mechanisms are standard. Hence, physical healing is
predetermined by nature and our genes. Still, the environmental
pressures. (stress, anxiety that can hamper the mind health) tend to
affect the repair and healing processes at our cellular level.
