would be clear from the examples.

What is the number of Straight Lines in the following Figure?

Solution: lets name the Figure First.

Three Vertical Lines are - AD, BC and HF.
Ten Slant Lines are – AC, DB, DF, AF, BF, CF, CE, DE, AE, and BE
Then, total Lines be – 16
