1 and 2 - The rope passes through the ring of the object to be hung.
When coming back through, create a half hitch on the standing end, with the working end passing over.
3 - After applying as much tension as possible by lowering the half hitch all the way down along the
standing end, lead the working end under the half hitch so that it starts to come through the coil.
