A descendant of the overhand loop, the noose knot is definitely the most
effective and most elegant sliding loop for holding a shackle or a carabiner.

1, 2, and 3 - After leading the rope around the support, tie a half knot at the end of the working end while
circling it around the standing end, as if you wanted to encase this end.
And this is exactly what we will do by doubling, tripling, quadrupling the starting half knot.

4 and 5 - After tightening a bit from the ends, lead the large sideways bight to the right so that it sits on the
               starting half knot.
Continue to turn it to the left by carefully inserting it inside the coils, just like for the blood knot, which
is the forerunner of the noose knot.
