A young knot enthusiast perfected a non-sliding eye, which leaves nothing to
chance and is the result of careful reflection.
The Sylvain knot is easy to untie and to braid, and is excellent for jib sheets.
1 - The working end, which is passed over when the initial half hitch is created, continues on its path
passing over, then under and over.
At this point, the knot is basically completed, and though it is quite simple, it can be used as is.
Tension can be applied to the knot as long as the standing end is tight!
As soon as the tension is released, it will come undone by itself.
