Module 2 : Motor Activities
Visual motor integration is a key skill that underpins children's readiness to learn to form the letters. In the Think Write Handwriting Programme is is important that children are able to show that they are 'ready' to learn how to form the letters before they are expected to write. This is measured by children's ability to trace the starting shape of each of the three main animal characters: Harriet the Cow, Georgia the Pig and Rupert the White Sheep. The activity guides children through tracing the starting shape, into copying the starting shape as well as learning to copy a sequence of age appropriate shapes.
Activities should be completed using a stylus. Push the blue arrow to reveal the next line.
