Bridegroom’s Banquet
This year’s Gala Fundraiser for the nuns of Christ the
Bridegroom Monastery was held on Saturday, November 1.
Funds were raised for general operations at the Monastery
and towards the first phase of planning to build a new
Monastery. Thanks to the GCU Parish Matching Funds for
adding to
the event’s
success.

Women of the Russian Orthodox Church of the
Transfiguration of Our Lord gratefully received
the GCU’s Non-Byzantine Parish Matching Funds
donation from the Sisterhood’s Septemberfest. The
event raised funds for the repair of the church’s
bell—our “singing icon,” a striking part of the
Orthodox services. May the church bell soon ring
out its thanks for GCU’s generous donation!

Sunday, September 28. Card party, basket
raffle & raffle 50/25/25 was held. The event
