WORK’s Bright Futures Gala
Bright Futures is WORK’s annual gala celebration of community
and impact. Bringing together supporters to invest in dignified
jobs, education and opportunity for families in Haiti and beyond.
On Friday, October 10, guests enjoy an inspiring evening of
impact stories, Haitian cuisine, gaming and connection. All with
the belief that good, dignified jobs end poverty. Thanks to the
GCU for their support through the Community Matching Funds
program.

to Tylar S. Farmer, his home
was deemed a total loss
Basket. after a fire in August. His
dog Basket was rescued by
firefighters and spent many days in a vet hospital.
Her recovery has been remarkable. Karen Pavlick

A GCU Community Matching Funds Event was hosted by North Metro San
Antonio Chamber and Sunshine Cottage to raise money for supporting
deaf children and young
professional leadership
development. The event
raised monies with a
silent auction, corporate
sponsorships and
donations.
