                                                         Whitehall Borough Mayor James Nowalk joined in the ceremony
                                                                   and gave a brief speech. Following the ceremony,
                                                                   everyone was invited inside the Whitehall Borough
                                                                   community room for a summer buffet dinner. While
                                                                   we were eating, we also played “Stump the Mayor.”
                                                                   We could ask any mayoral question and the Mayor
                                                                   would answer. This game was also played with the
                                                                   Kennywood Park speaker. If you asked a question,
                                                                   you received a number. At the end of the evening,
                                                      numbers were selected and those people chosen won a patriotic
                                                      gift. Andy Quinn, retired Kennywood part-owner, gave a wonderful
                                                      slide show presentation on the history of Kennywood Park. The
                                                      information was so interesting, and it was fun to see photos from
                                                      the past.
