Tiziana Mucchiani Farah masters various materials but pays special attention to bronze, revealing to the viewer the amazing capabilities of the metal. The dominant element in the sculptures ‘Joy’, ‘Movement’, ‘Sea Shell’, and ‘Feelings’ is a ball,
the perfect form of existence of matter in space. The movement of this matter generates voids and bursts in the surrounding world. The different nature of the surfaces reflects the story of their lives: on the outside, the shell has congealed and been polished by waves, but inside it remains heterogeneous, seems mobile and still growing. Mirror-smooth, sparkling, pure – ‘Joy’; complex, as if formed by numerous attachments of particles to the whole – ‘Feelings’.
Tiziana’s works are not only decorative as visual objects; their main appeal is tactility. A mental touch to the sculptures allows you to feel more keenly the difference between the objects of the world around us: learn to recognize the shape, express the sense of touch, and look for emotional associations.
Tiziana Mucchiani’s monologue, in my opinion,
is about the way the matter spreads in space, what traces it leaves behind (shape, color), and what feelings this trace awakens in the viewer.
This is no coincidence because sculpture by its nature is akin to dance: it helps to embody feelings plastically.
