an Abstract Artist from Switzerland.
During the whole years of her business life, her thinking was dominated by facts and figu- res. But now she’s in the period of life, where she can work with her free mind, soul and spirit. She’s an encouraging,motivated and colorful artist.
If artwork dominates a life, it’s a gift, it’s love, motivation, passion, a pure challenge. For some artists like her, it’s a calling!
Imagine, when you first see a painting, you can’t really say, what draws your attention towards an art object. A special shape, a spe- cial color, the mixture of colors, something which remembers you on other painters or is it a sensation of an extraordinary compo- sition. Or even better, you are discovering a painter, which you didn’t know before. As soon as you are attracted by a certain pain- ting, you will be interested to find out either more about this special object or the painter’s intention behind the artwork.
It could easily happen, that suddenly you imagine, how this artwork would present it- self in your home. That’s the first step to fall in love with an artwork. You know, investing in a piece of artwork is like investing in your- self! A painting is something of value. You see every day in your home, which belongs to your intimates privacy. It cannot be equa- ted with buying a piece of expensive fashion, which maybe is out of mode in a few years. Our society needs artists to express the cu- rrent times values and their specific cultural custums. While on one side artists with their work express, what impress them, if positi- vely or negatively, it’s on the other side in the responsibilities of museums, cultural institu- tions, curators, galleries, that artwork of va- luable and unique caracter will be promoted, supported and preserved as a cultural good for our future generations. Artwork as an ac- curate diary/mirror of any historical period, shows the whole variety of idealism, indivi- dualism, attitudes, lifestyles.
So far we have good news for contemporary artists, who are talented, ambitious, inspired, dedicated and willing to spend a lot of ener- gy in designing extraordinary artwork for the upcoming generations. This work has good chances to survive the artist one day and to
put an important impact on a lot of people out in the big World.
Artists need the active support and the appre- ciation of the society, but what they also need to be successful, is enough self confidence, self motivation, self critic, a lot of determi- nation and this immense inner drive to work without hesitation, without questioning him/ herself ‘why do I do, what I do’.
Artwork is something so beautiful, but also urging, each artwork a challenge, an artist like her simply has to do! Art is a gift, is love, is passion, is live. It’s a calling.
