Message from the Executive Director
Welcome!
As we start a new season, I’ve been reflecting on the
extraordinary tapestry that makes the Phil the remarkable
organization it is today. I am so grateful to be part of such a
wonderful team.

very special concert the night before the big parade. It was so successful; we were invited to
do it again this year.

Crucially, the Phil could not thrive without the support of our valued donors, sponsors,
and financial supporters. Simply put, we could not do anything without them. Even
if every concert sold out, the revenue generated would barely cover half the cost to
produce our concerts, educational programs, free performances, and other community
initiatives.
Last, but certainly not least, is my staff. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful,
dedicated team I get to work with daily to bring everything together. Kara
McEachern, Gail Dunford, Erin Lafleur and Patty Cronin are a tiny team of four
who orchestrate every facet of our operation, from concert production to marketing,
audience engagement, and ticket sales. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. They do
so much more and are the engine that makes everything run smoothly.
Our digital concert program – ENCORE! – will contain bonus content and each issue
will Spotlight some of the people who make the Phil great. Delivered to your inbox
before every concert, ENCORE! offers a backstage pass to the magic that unfolds.
Welcome back to the Phil! We look forward to spending another exciting season with
you.
