Message from the Executive Director

Welcome!

Bringing great music to people of all ages
has always been a hallmark of the Phil, and
nothing exemplifies that goal more than this
concert. The one-hour format and special pricing make this an
ideal concert for anyone new to live orchestral music.

I love looking out into the audience and seeing friends – young and
not-so-young, long-time supporters and first-timers – all enjoying
great music together. Prior to the concert, I hope you were able
to join us for the hands-on music demonstration. The demo has
always been a fun way for patrons of all ages to interact with the
musicians and learn a little about each instrument.

As with our previous concerts for all ages, this event is part of
the national food drive, Orchestras Feeding America. We are
grateful to all of you who brought donations to support the Food
Warehouse of Greater Plymouth.

Special thanks to the Edgar and Pauline Main Family Foundation
for supporting this concert for more than 25 years, not only as a
sponsor but by making it a family tradition and attending with
extended family from near and far to help bring great music to a
whole new generation. We could not do it without you.
