1) Exchange your tickets
We’ve packed a lot of music into this season: a feel-good opener, a fantastic finale, and nonstop for another concert
music in between. This musical journey takes us to faraway lands—England, Ireland, and during the season
Scotland—and hot spots like Hollywood, Whoville, and the tip of the North Pole.
2) Donate your tickets
Two special premieres and two fabulous fundraisers double the fun. First up, the North American back to the Phil as
premiere of Concerto for Amplified Double Bass, an all-strings sensation from one of the hottest a tax-deductible
composers on the double bass scene today. Then, an orchestral suite by Jennifer Higdon from her donation
opera Cold Mountain. The Pulitzer Prize and three-time Grammy-winner was recently inducted into the
American Academy of Arts and Letters, the country’s highest recognition for artistic merit. I simply can’t wait to hear this 3) Request a refund

We’ve pulled all kinds of strings for this year’s fundraisers. For more than three decades, the fiery fiddler Eileen Ivers and her
band have blazed new trails in Celtic and American music. You’ll also meet Time for Three, three classically trained string
musicians who have fused American, modern pop, and classical music to create their own signature sound. Programs and guest
Naturally, we’ve invited the masters to this musical party: Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, and Rachmaninoff, to name a artists subject to
few. We’ve also brought the top in Pops. The music of James Bond is definitely “Shaken, Not Stirred,” and we’ll all “Come change.
Together” for the Beatles best tunes. Hope to see you in the concert hall!
