        Appalachian Spring is Copland’s most famous composition; some call it
        his best. Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto is also among the best, requiring
        soloist Julianne Lee and the orchestra to soar, roar, and leave everything
        we’ve got on the concert hall floor.
