                                Jackson, Mississippi.  They built homes like the

         Scott Ford Houses where midwives helped mothers give birth to babies who grew to be


                                               beautiful girls like you.


                        A midwife’s family lived in these endangered houses at 136 & 138 E. Cohea Street.

                                                      They represent the

                         “Stepping stones between the Segregation Era and the Civil Rights Movement.”
