         VENTILATORS GO MOBILE

                                                   DRIVES & CONTROL SYSTEMS

         STOBER HAS COLLABORATED IN
         THE DRIVE TO MAKE MORE
         MOBILE VENTILATORS IN
         RESPONSE TO THE COVID CRISIS

            n a multi-company collaboration with student design
            office FF Maschinen GmbH, mechanical
            transmissions manufacturer Stober has supplied
Icomponents for use in the production of manually
operated mobile ventilators in the battle against
coronavirus. Following increased demand for ventilators,
managing director of FF Maschinen, Felix Theurer, had the
idea to expand the capability of mobile ventilators in such
a way that they can also be used for patients with corona-
         related breathing difficulties.
In order to create a reliably functioning prototype from
a concept developed with various doctors and intensive
care physicians, Theurer turned to special machine
manufacturer SOGA Gallenbach. SOGA is a long standing-
         customer and close partner of
         Stober, who immediately
         agreed to support this initiative.
           Together with NAST
         Automation, whose managing
         director Dennis Nagel is a
         former Stober employee, the
         students of FF Maschinen
         developed the technical
implementation. In just seven Stober CEO Patrick Stober sponsored Theurer and his team in a mechanical
