In her line of jewelry Rita treated and shaped the Cd’s before applying her mixed media.

She took some time out from painting to create three wearable categories; Earrings, Pendants,
and Barrets.

Another category is Ornaments. These are colorful stand alone objects. One of their many
functional uses is as the face of battery operated small clocks.

For a while Rita created many designs but does not make any more. A few are left after most
were sold and the rest begged for by friends and relatives.

Because of the complexity of handling the little segments no duplication was possible so all the
pieces are one-of-a-kind designs that were hand made by Rita herself .
