Report on Safety week for Kindergarten

ROAD SAFETY

To make the kindergarten students aware of traffic rules and safety measures that we
should observe while moving on the road, “Road Safety week” was celebrated in GIHS

kindergarten from 13 -17 2019.

Awareness activities were conducted in class rooms as well as outdoor learning area by
display of safe traffic rules, drawing and painting activity, skit and assembly.

Students learnt about the rules and various sign boards on the road, through the
enactments done by the students and teachers.

Students participated very enthusiastically in the interactive sessions held during these
enactments. On the whole, it was quite informative and very fruitful session for the

students. The students were also encouraged to reflect on how they would help in
future to ensure road safety for all.
