GRADE 1-4

Blindfold walk and The Telephone Game were the Fun activities
based on listening skill were the first activities conducted for grade
1 and 2 children in the respective class rooms.

Students of grade 1 and 2 took delight in the activity to a great
extent as the activities were really amusing and illuminating.

In Blindfold walk activity, students worked in pairs enthusiastically.

The telephone game was really fascinated the students .They
whispered the phrase to their neighbors until it reaches the last
player in line. The last player says the word or phrase out loud so
everyone can hear how much it has changed from the first whisper
at the beginning of the circle or line.

The first day was really the best and electrified starting for the
children and they enjoyed the fullest.

‘To read without reflecting is like Eating without digesting.’

A reading activity called ‘Buddy reading ‘was the second
day activity for grade I to IV students to stimulate their

reading.

Best readers from each class were taken to other classes

and read stories with exact pronunciation, intonation, stress
and expression.

Students read various thought-provoking stories and
penned their reflections. It was indeed a great learning
experience for the teachers to read the intense thoughts and
opinions of the children.

The enthusiasm and excitement showed by the students
while participating in the activities was the best reward for
their teachers.
