An exciting Inter-house Quiz competition for students
of Grade 9 to 12 was held at GIHS on 26th April 2018.

The Quiz master was Mrs. Shani Janisa, Internal
Coordinator of Gr. 9-12 & External Coordinator of the
morning session. The quiz began with the introduction
of the participants. The quiz master explained rules of
the inter-house quiz competition. It was interesting
four-round competition-including direct questioning-
no buzzer round, transfer round, buzzer round and
rapid fire round including questions on general
knowledge, sports, current affairs and a special quiz on
UAE which engaged the students for one hour.

IGNITED MINDS –QUIZ The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing,
exciting. The students showcased their brilliance by
COMPETITION (GR. 9-12) skillfully answering the questions. The audience also
got a chance to participate every time the teams
answered incorrectly. The quiz master conducted the
quiz in a very interactive way and the teams
participated with great enthusiasm and vigour. The
final round, the rapid-fire round gave the teams a
chance to catch up with leaders and put-up a tough
fight.

Everyone waited with bated breath for the
announcement of the final scores. As the results were
declared, everyone clapped and cheered for the
ecstatic winning teams. This quiz truly was a learning
experience, for both the audience and the participants.
Overall the competition proved informative and
inspiring to the students.
