We have started our Jolly phonics lessons.
Literacy:Last week we completed two phonic sounds in literacy
‘Letter sound ‘a ’ and ‘s’.Tracing in sand,using paint,collage on the outline & rainbow
tracing using crayons.
Vocabulory words for the phonic
sounds.apple,axe,ant,axe,sun,snake,strawberry,soap’
Numeracy:In numeracy we completed numbers ‘1’ and ‘2’ with number values. Tracing
in sand,using paint,collage on the outline & rainbow tracing using crayons.
UOW : In UOW our focus was ‘Self Identitification’(Gender,Characterestics of a
boy &girl)
We celebrated the Science Week
Children enjoyed exploring different textures, Different types of sounds in the
environment, Smell of different Fruits, Coffee, Tea etc.in line with the topic body
parts and its functions.
Parental Tip: Practice phonic sounds at home. Please refer to the website
