We have started our Jolly phonics lessons.
Literacy:Last week we completed two phonic sounds in literacy
‘Letter sound ‘p ’ and ‘n’.Tracing in sand,using paint,collage on the outline & rainbow
tracing using crayons.
Vocabulary words for the phonic sounds.
Parrot,pen,pencil,pot,nest,net,nurse,nail,nut,nose
Numeracy:In numeracy we completed number ‘’4’’with number values. Tracing in
sand,using paint,collage on the outline & rainbow tracing using crayons.
Revision of the shape ‘Circle’
UOW : In UOW our focus was’ My family’. Different members of family
Nursery rhyme: “Family finger song’’
Parental Tip: Practice phonic sounds at home. Please refer to the website

‘Please help your child to find new words starting with ‘p & n ’. Lower case letter
“p & n”
p as in pot not as in phone
n as in nut
Next week our focus will be: ‘Developing communication skills’. Please ask more
questions and encourage them to answer in a complete sentence.
