TOLERANCE DAY
(MORNING SESSION)
(Morning Session)
The year 2019 has been declared to be the ‘The Year of
Tolerance’ in the UAE, highlighting the UAE as a global
capital for tolerance, and emphasizing tolerance as a
universal concept aimed at entrenching the values of
tolerance, dialogue, coexistence and openness to
different cultures.
On 26 September, 2019, GIHS celebrated ‘Tolerance
th
Day’ through a variety of activities promoting ‘Peace’,
‘Humanity’, ‘Coexistence’ and ‘Respect’.
The students of Kindergarten performed a skit on the
theme ‘Birds of different feathers, fly together’. They
portrayed the unity between different religions.
The students of primary phase performed a musical skit
on ‘We may be different, but we swim together’. The skit
was displayed in a very simple and beautiful manner.
