GIHS, KG section celebrated Family Week from 15 -19 2019. Various activities were
organized for the tiny tots to realize and perceive the value of family in their life. The main
objective was to have an Open Day for families to have an idea about what their little ones are
doing in classrooms.
It enabled the students to recognize that the family provides a sense of belonging and a
unique identity to them. It also created a special emotional feeling in the students about their
family. Parents were engaged in many activities. Reading stories, creative work for Bulletin
Boards, Painting. Fun filled activity-oriented crafts were prepared by the teachers related to
the monthly theme ‘Plants’
It was a week full of fun and excitement for the students and would definitely be a memorable
day in their life. They understand the importance of love and affection among the members of
a family.
