Report of the Arab Emirates Week Activites-2019

September 8 to 12 was observed as the Emirates week at GIHS. Various
activities and programmes were conducted by the students of grade 2 to
10 as a part of this. The main objective of observing the Emirates Week
was to make the students aware of the various developments of UAE and
also to make them understand more and create an awareness among them
on the theme of UAE this year ie, “Year of Tolerance”. Students from
grade 2 to 10 were given various topics on which they were asked to do
the activities like postermaking, pluckard making , powerpoint
presentation etc.
Students of the primary section did activities like making bookmarks on
the national identities of UAE and students of grade 3 were asked to do
some drawings on the the development of UAE.
The students of grade 5 made posters and placards on the topic the theme
of UAE this year and collected pictures and informations on the same
topic and created an awarness among the students about its importance in
our lives.
