REPORT ON MOTHER’S DAY AFTERNOON SESSION DATE-11/05/19

It is truly said, “God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mother.

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother, as well as motherhood, maternal bond and influence

of mothers in society. Mother’s Day was celebrated by the students of Gulf Indian High School who

expressed their love and affection for their mother .The day started with the school assembly whereby

the students gave a speech on the importance of the day along with a beautiful poem dedicated to all

the teachers who are their second mother at school. Students marked the day through participating in

card making & calligraphy competition. Cards made by the students were presented to their mothers. A

special activity was organized for the students of grade 2 to 5. The students had a splendid time making

and painting cards & flowers together. It was a pleasure watching the energetic children preparing

something unique, something special for their Moms.
