SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON
THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN-2019

Muslims fast to remind themselves that spiritual
nourishment is more important than any other
thing in the world. It takes a lot of self-discipline
and effort to not to eat or drink anything for
such an extended period of time. During this
period Muslims carryout extra acts of charity
and visit the mosque to recite Quran and Ramadan Kareem
additional prayers. It is a time to reflect on what
is really important in life and how best to please
the God.
Islamic Studies department got the opportunity
to prepare the assembly skit, quiz and speech
about this Holy month. Students from different
grades participated in the assembly act ivity
enthusiastically. Students of grade 4 prepared
the Quiz, students of grade 7 prepared the
Nusheed. Students of grade 6 prepared the
names of the holy month accordingly and
displayed them through the posters. Students of
grade 10 took part in a skit on the holy month
Ramadan and showcased about the acts after
sighting of the moon, Iftar, prayers, recitation of
the holy Quran and charity. Ms. Muskan from
grade 10 delivered an informative speech about
the significance of the holy month.
