When the activity was presented to children, all the materials were taken out of the
bag and examined .Then all the shapes are placed back in the bag. One shape is
pulled out and then they found the matching pair just by touch. Children enjoyed
the activity a lot.
GRADE 2 - GERMINATION
‘Vocabulary is not an isolated skill it is based on all areas of communication-
listening, speaking, reading and writing.’ An activity based on vocabulary has been
given to Grade 2 children in order to enhance their vocabulary.
Five long words have been given to children to frame different words by using the
letters used in the words. Children hopped – up and involved in the activity
profoundly. The words which they framed by the given letters shared with the
class.
