We have started our Jolly phonics lessons.
Literacy:Last week we completed one phonic sound in literacy
Letter sound ‘e’ tracing in sand,using paint,collage on the outline & rainbow tracing
using crayons.
Vocabulary words for the phonic sound.
e for elephant,egg ,eye,exit
Numeracy : Introduction of concept “Big and small “ using real objects.
Sequencing, counting numbers 1-5 using flash cards.
UOW : In UOW our topic was “My School” using puppet/ flash card
Parental Tip: Practice phonic sounds at home. Please refer to the
websitewww.educationcity.com
‘Please help your child to find new words starting with ‘e’. Lower case letter
‘e’.
e as in elephant,egg,exit
Next week our focus will be: ‘Developing communication skills’. Please ask more
questions and encourage them to answer in a complete sentence.
