Nature walk – A walk around the school GIHS -Dubai.

As a part of the Science Activity the grade 2 students of GIHS went around
the school with the teacher obseving the different types of plants during the
normal school hours. The main objective of this activity was to explore the
different types of plants in the environment. Children were asked to make a
list of all the plants they observed. Later the children were asked to sort and
write the names of plants they obseved as herbs, shrubs, creepers, climbers
and trees in their note book.

All the children were very happy and activiely took part in the nature walk. It
also gave them a chance to interact with their peers and teachers.
