LITERACY(Reading,Writing,Understanding)
• Revision of phonic sounds (Jolly phonics )
• Introduction of phonic sound ‘j & z’
• Writing:formation of letters : lower case letters “c & k”
• Segmenting and blending of three letter words(pen,ten,,hen,men)
• Reading: ORT books(Oxford Reading Tree books level 2)
• Reading:Beginning to read simple sentences with three letter words and
sight words
• Parental Tip: practice segmenting and blending three letter words
phonetically.Help the children to find familiar words from the story
books.
NUMERACY(Numbers,Meassurment & Shape )
• Sequence writing of numbers 0-7 with values
• Introduction to number line
• Reverse counting using numberline
• Find the ‘’number before’’using the numberline
UOW-(understanding of the world)
• Awareness about global climate,natural forces and different settings
through a fable(The Ant and the Grass Hopper)
• Values : Hard work,Sustainablity
• Awareness about international festivals: “Pumkin Fest”.
