GRADE 2

GRADE 2 – WATER CONSERVATION

Grade 2 students took part in the activities enthusiastically
and creatively. A good deal of activities were introduced in
the class such as water talk, JAM (Just a Minute Talk) on
‘play your part .Be water smart…’. Think-Pair-Share
activity on ‘World Water Day’, Flow chart making activity
on ‘Tips for water conservation’, Interview with the

teachers on the topic ‘ How do they conserve water while
cooking ‘,Creative writing on ‘ A Day without Water’,
Role play using animal finger puppets etc …

The activities were adequate to raise awareness among the
students of grade 2, to develop good water saving habits.

Students shared their view about the significance of saving
water and awareness about their role in responsible water
usage and by using water wisely to create water supplies for
creating greener and more livable communities now and into
the future.
