REPORT ON VISIT TO WETEX EXHIBITION

The 20th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment
Exhibition (WETEX 2018), organized by Dubai Electricity and
Water Authority (DEWA), took place on 23-25 October 2018at
the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre
(DICEC). Covering an area of over 70,000 square meters, the
event played host to 2,000 exhibitors from 50 different
countries. This year’s theme was ‘At the forefront of
sustainability,’ and coincided with the 2nd Dubai Solar Show
and the 4th World Green Economy Summit. The exhibition
portrayed the latest developments in conventional and
renewable energy around the world, and featured business
opportunities and potential partnerships to drive business.
From Gulf Indian High School, Grade 11 Science students visited
the exhibition along with Mrs.Naseera (Physics Department)
