THE Innovative Entrepreneur Competition -SEASON 3
(2018)

The Innovative Entrepreneur Competition (IEC)-2018, Season 3 was held at Gulf
Indian High School on 8 th December 2018 to promote students’ entrepreneur
skills. Innovative Entrepreneur competition aims to create a simple
entrepreneurial environment for students to compete in a real-life business
scenario, inspiring a generation of leading entrepreneurs for the future, in
addition this will promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among students and
help them to overcome the real difficulties they face in the business world.

The GIHS students of primary, middle and senior
phases set up stalls to sell their creative handmade
products. They also sold articles which helped

them to understand the entrepreneurial, sales and
marketing skills.

The students also put up a stall, selling educational
toys which would help students increase their
knowledge. It showed us their skills in business
techniques at such a small age.

Students, under the guidance of teachers set up
“Art Gallery” which put on sale the handmade
materials made by the students, canvas paintings
and different types of accessories. Students also set
up stalls for henna and face painting which was a
tremendous success.

The Games Stall was set up in which lots of games
were played by the guests and gifts given to them.
This showcased their capability of doing work and
skills in business.
