THE CURSE OF THE PURPLE PUMPKIN HITS EAST CORK
Ghoulsleys Manor in Cobh Struck by the Curse and Haunted for Halloween
Cuskinny Court, in East Cork has been hit by a 200-year old curse, unleashing mischief and
turning the estate home into a murky manor. Visible only to children, the curse of the Purple
Pumpkin has hit Ghoulsleys Manor in Cuskinny at Cobh and is expected to be at full tilt by 20th
    October when school midterm begins.
“We’ve never seen anything quite like the Curse of the Purple Pumpkin in East Cork,” said
Caitriona Johansson of Cuskinny Court Activity and Adventure Centre. “It’s quite spooky and
funny to see the Curse take hold and we are inviting children to come and experience this
imaginative, interactive Halloween experience this October midterm.”
Over the last three years, Ghoulsley’s Manor has built up quite a reputation for it’s fright-
ful Halloween festivities. Children from the ages of 4 to 14 years get to immerse themselves
in a truly spellbinding theatrical performances by a creative and fun-loving acting crew from
East Cork. In the setting of an historic manor house, the Halloween extravanganza has proven
popular for parties, group visits, school outings and family days out away from technology.
This imaginative family experience allows kids young and old get lost amidst the candlelight
and cobwebs of Cork’s original Spooky Haunted Manor.
